A Canadian National filed a complaint at Iloilo City Police Office – 3 against Lourdes Fiazon for not attending to his demand of refund.
Dave Chivers, male, 53 years old moved in the room he rented at Brgy. Luna Jaro Iloilo City on August 23, 2019 and paid the amount of php 12,000 for 2 months’ worth of rent. However he moved out last October 6, 2019 and did not consume the 2 months he paid for.
Chivers asked Fiazon for the refund the remaining 17 days of what he pain which is equivalent to Php 3,400 but the landlady refused and made up added cost so that she could not give the refund.
He also complained that Fiazon did not showed him his electric bills and there were no agreement permit before he rented the room.
The complainant added that he did not feel comfortable in the room that he rented. PSMS Alfred Villarente referred the case to the barangay for settlement.
