Brgy. Sambag Jaro conducts a FREE Anti-Rabies Vaccination in collaboration with the Office of the City Veterinarian (OCV) in Iloilo.
An estimated number of 100 animals including cats and dogs were vaccinated during a house to house visit from the OCV and Barangay officials in Sambag Jaro.
Around January to May there are 17 human rabies death recorded in Region VI. This project is intended to avoid cases of rabies in Iloilo City and to maintain public health safety. Officials also aims to expand the free injection of anti-rabies around different barangays in Iloilo City.
The Office of the Veterinarian (OCV) encourages residents to be e responsible pet owners by having their pet avail these free anti rabies vaccination.
