WVSU Elem. Educ bags 4th Place Best Performing School in LET

With an 89.18% passing rate in the Licensure Exam for teachers in elementary Level, West Visayas State University claimed the 4th place as best performing school in the Philippines Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET).

Being the Center of excellence College of Education (COE) professors provide quality instructions and updated textbooks as reviewers to LET takers before taking the exam. However College of Education faculties are quite sad with the result because out of 239 passers no one made it to top 10.

According to Professor Julynn Rico from the College of Education, the reason for WVSU not achieving a 100% passing rate may be the re-takers that graduated WVSU long ago and are untraceable.

“As of now we from the College of Education are investigating kung ngaa wala gid sang may nadala sa top 10. Maalam man sila tanan kay most of them graduated as cumlaude maybe because ang exams nag budlay gidman” – Professor Julynn stated. “Si Sandro Silverio gani nga suma-cumlaude wala man naka sulod sa top 10” she added.

Despite not having top notchers the College of Education still hails proudly for the new 239 licensed educators.
