GOT7 Int’l Fanbase donates to orphans

OT7Ahga International Fanclub donates school supplies and rice subsidy to orphaned children in 3 countries under GOT7 JB’s name.

An online K-pop fanclub organization donated a yearlong school supplies and rice subsidies to 220 orphaned students across Kenya, Jordan and the Philippines in honor of GOT7 JB’s Birthday on January 6.

In an exclusive chat with a member of the fanclub, they expressed their gratefulness towards GOT7 JB for inspiring them in organizing the project. Members of the fanclub wished to remain anonymous.

“He exudes such warmth that it moves the hearts (of fans) to be empathetic and sympathetic to the plight of other, especially those less fortunate.”

“When we look at him, we see more than a leader, we see a mentor. This very attribute is what planted the seed for this project. We’ve all had our fair share of difficulties in 2020 but many of us were able to sustain our own way of life, but what about the orphaned children who lost those who loved them? Who will be their mentors? With this thought in mind, we reached out to an organization that operates in different countries to help us look for students with the most urgent needs and thus our project came to bear fruit.” They added.

Unfortunately due to the threat of COVID-19 and health protocols, they were not able to meet the students in the Philippines yet the children’s mother expressed their appreciation on their behalf by saying:

“Thank you Mr. Jeabeom and the Ahgases who thought of our families”.

The OT7 Ahga International Fanclub was created in December 2019 with the motto “LET OUR VOICES BE HEARD IN UNISON”. For them the phrase represents the spirit of openness, communication and determination that characterizes our fanbase efforts on behalf of GOT7 and its members. Members of the organization are composed of different fans across the world that shared the same love for the K-pop boy band – GOT7.

Through our projects in support of GOT7, we hope to pay forward to others the happiness and gratitude we are lucky to experience as Ahgases.
